"When you grow up, your heart dies."

         I was watching The Breakfast Club today, and one of the characters, Allison said, "When you grow up, your heart dies." 
       When I was younger, I used to think adults were the most boring people ever and that all the fun happened when you were a teenager. Now that I'm mostly through my teenage years, I feel myself being drawn closer toward adulthood, like aging is a gargantuan planet drawing me in with its gravitational pull. 
      What I don't understand though is why adults seem so boring sometimes. I mean, they've lived so much and taken so much from the world. Seen more. Been inspired more. Experienced more. If anything, they should be the most interesting.
